AQSIQ
AQSIQ (The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine) is a ministerial-level department under the State Council of China that is in charge of national quality, entry-exit commodity inspection, import-export products safety, certification and accreditation, as well as administrative law enforcement. From a legal point of view, an independent third- party inspection company should get both AQSIQ and CNAS17020 accreditation, then this inspection company can be operated in China legally.
CIQA
China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Association (CIQA)approved to be set up by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People Republic of China, is a nationwide non-profit social organization composed voluntarily of the entry-exit inspection and quarantine enterprises, institutions, related social organizations and practitioners.
General Inspection Service Co., Ltd. (GIS) is a Standing Board Member of the Import & Export Commodity Inspection and Survey Agency Branch of the CIQA.
CNAS 17020 Accreditation
China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) is legally validated by the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) in accordance with the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Certification and Accreditation and the Methods for Supervision and Administration of Accreditation Body.
China National Accreditation Service (CNAS) accreditation is recognized by over 77 countries within ILAC, ISO and IEC.
General Inspection Service Co., Ltd. (GIS Inspection) is accredited by CNAS 17020 (ISO17020 / IEC17020) since 2013. As a fully accredited Inspection Body, GIS Inspection is legally authorized to perform inspection and testing services in China.
CMA

The CMA is a mandatory accreditation for testing and inspection agencies in China, ensuring that a laboratory possesses the necessary testing equipment, environmental conditions, and technical expertise. For GIS, holding a CMA license means their inspection reports are legally recognized and carry administrative authority within the Chinese market.
